Megasize RX78-2 1/48 Anniversary Color

Bandai will release megasize 1/48 scale of rx78-2 in Chrome color. The price for the Mega Size 1/48 RX-78-2 Gundam Extra Finish Ver.

While the price is almost doubled as compared to the original Gundam, priced at 14000 yen.

This exclusive merchandises to be on sale at the Gunpla Expo Japan World Tour 2011 (UDX Akiba Square @ Akihabara, Japan between Nov 4th -6th, 2011).

The admission is free, I’m suspecting to get this outside Japan will cost extra more.

RX78 Megasize 1/48

RX78 Megasize comes in huge scale 1/48. Although the detail is not as comprehensive as the PG’s the hugeness of the scale can be a point for getting this.

Last time, the painted version of this gundam appears on yahoo auction for 1392

One particular 1/48 scale Mega Size Model Gundam RX-78-2 produced by someone with the Aucfan ID “qqsf2005″ had successfully auctioned his work for the whooping 131,000 Yen (USD $1392 or RM 4,493).

The original price for this gunpla is 7,800 Yen.

Gundam Astray Red Frame MG version by RedMage

I come across a very beautiful MG Astray Red Frame, infact this one is supposed to be not a red frame anymore. Its a black frame.

It is crafted by an Indonesian nickname red mage ( akamage ). I found this picture of his personal blog.

New Garo Toys Tamashii Web

Garo, is a toku genre film series. There are also big screen movie produced by this series.

There are some cool toys announcement from Tamashii, Garo Zero and Kiba will return. But not in Equip and Prop Series. Rather Bandai have decided to make new toy line up series based on the movie.

The tile is Makai Kado Garo. At the moment Garo, Zero and Kiba have been release. Gouten will also come out as an exclusive tamashi. Also Kiba Horse Raigō is making an apperance in Tamashi Exclusive. Price will be around 150 – 180 US for Gairo shipped. For Gouten is much cheaper around 9000 Yen however shipment can be quite expensive

The last cool character that I was expecting is Jyakku ( shadow Garo ) Which he look dark and purplish.

Guess I cannot skip these collections.

PG Red Astray Gundam Painted

I come across this beautiful PG 1/60 Astray Red Frame Gundam (ARF). This is painted by an Indonesian nick named: STR1KU. From Indonesian Modelling site, although this was posted back in 2010 I cant help to share it to you guys, as this one is particularly cool.

I like how he painted the armor white instead of black. Give a very clean look for the astray Gundam.

This is an inspiration, just want to build a PG 1/60 Astray like he does.

I have not been blogging for a very long time. I guess now its the year 2012 time to start fresh

For Information I have now moved back to my country Indonesia, suprisingly the toy communities here are a lot more happening then what it was before in Australia.

Work have been very much busy. I have just recently changed the server for my website.

Anywho, perhaps I’m a bit bored with Hot Toys and 1/6 frenzy. My love for mecha will never dies. I started to go back to to collect all the PG gundam again

Ironically, these Gundam which I previously owned and soled it to people with very cheap price. Now time to get them back with a cheap price, I realise its very hard to find a cheap Gundam.

My last recent steal is the PG 1/60 Aile Strike Gundam.

Not only comes assembled but the Gundam that I obtained comes out with nice painted and decals.

I like it how the color is very similar to the original Gundam color…

Ultra Act Ultraman

This is the Ultraman in SH figure art forms, however Bandai called this lined up as Ultra-Act. This will be a good contender for “Revoltech” Kaiyodo. The height is about 16cm, highly articulated and posable.

This look like the best articulated Ultraman figure I’ve seen. Looks good in the cape too..

Project BM Akira Bike pictures

There is a new update for Project BM Akira Bike, the length of the bike is 0.5 Metter (quite huge )

There are 5 components light up: headlights, front and rear wheels, left and right turn signals, rear lamps and dashboard. The bike’s armor can be detached easily,

The Plastic Armor are held together via magnet, it has sound effect for the brake (left) and the accelerator (right). Can be connected to an external speaker for higher sound quality. There will be also special prize for early pre-order: plain cowl and special stickers designed by Otomo Katsuhiro (大友克洋), director of “Akira”.

It will be released on 20 of March with the heavy price tag of course of 39,900 Yen (inclusive of tax). Will you still be interested ? =)

The most expensive Mazinger Z I’ve ever known

This is the most expensive Mazinger – Z I’ve ever known. This was actually show cased last year in 2009 but now is already confirmed!
UMC stand for Urban Material Chogokin, it was produced by Tamashii Nation ( under Bandai ).

This UMC hottest is made of titanium Carbon. 900mm tall, and 8kg weight. The display base dimension is 600mm tall, with 400mm in width and depth respectively, weighting about 4kgs.

The only way to get this is to contact Tamashii Nation directly. They only produce extremely limited quantity. 10 Unit worldwide. The Pre order started tomorrow if you are really into this you better be hurry. The UMC Mazinger Z will be ready to be shipped on the 29 August this year.

How expensive ? 2.000.000 yen,. which make it around $22.000 US dollars… Hm… I’m deciding should I get a car, or this for my birthday..

. ha ha ha

This is simply The Best Mazinger. Ever. Period.

Jumbo Mazinger

Jumbo Mazinger is due to be released this month the price is around 270USD. This has been the second revisit since 36 years ago Jumbo Mazinger was produced by Popy.
