This is one of the most eagerly waited revoltech figure. Features Professor Layton based on the level 5 Nintendo DS videogame.

This figure will be out on 15 of march this year, will retail for ¥2400 (USD$26).

With this price this is a lot better figure as compare the resin one made last time, with the fraction of the cost also.. Can’t wait for luke figure to complete the collection, although I’m not sure if revoltech is making Luke version.

Fewture Getter 1 Gigantic Double Tomahawk

I owned all the original Fewture getter. ( not the repaint ), as I’m getting bored to look at the machine gun .. I finally got the “gigantic tomahawk” from Angolz today.

The tomahawk is all made from plastic. ( if its from die cast I think would be to heavy for getter 1 to carry it ).

While the name sounded silly at first, I understand now why they called it Gigantic its almost over one third quater tall as compared to getter 1 itself.

It comes with the switchable hand too..

Overall I liked it, give the getter 1 more menacing and mystical look as compare to the getter gun. It’s actually nice to attach the tomahawk at the back ( to become hover mode) , although the getter neck is forced be tilted to the front slightly. ( this is because of the attachment part at the back ).

Akira is very well known anime, it have a deep political meaning of Japanese culture. Apparently Leonardo Dicaprio is already on take to make a movie out of it. Well, this news is not about that, is about this sick cool toys from Project BM. This bike is 1/6 scale of Kaneda’s Bike. Comes with 3 different LED color, blue , yellow and red for the dashboard. You can open up the bike’s body for inside mechanical works. Totally awesome, comes with heavy price tags of 39900 Yen, or about … 450 USD some Japanese online store have it for sale for about 300 US. Worth the money ?? Yes I think soo..

Aoshima Black Getter Comparison

Aoshima rather known as Miracle House are rather famous for their SG series Getter. The only problem are they making too many version for the same model. Lately I was looking into getting on Black Getter robots model. I actually really wanted to get the Fewture Black Getter which are damn expensive ( price up to $1000 – $1500 USD). At the moment there are 3 versions of Aoshima Black Getters they are:

Black Getter Normal Version (With Ryoma)
Black Getter Metalic Kawaii Version (With Dr Saotome)
Black Getter Matt Blood / Weathering Version (With Ryoma)

After close investigation with no doubt I can say the Weathering Version of is the best amongs all, not only comes with the blood stain it also glow in the dark. The only problem is there not much stock available for this version. It can cost up to $250 US.

I decided to get the Metalic Kawaii Version, as I feel there are nothing special on getting the normal version of it.
You can wait until Bandai release their Black Getter SOC.. maybe it just a matter of time !

However it is up to your preference which one to get
If you confused you can collect them all .. hehe!

Evangelion 2.0 YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE Kubrick

Supporting the second OVA remake of Evangelion. “You Can (NOT) Advance”. Medicom finally released the continuation for their evangelion kubrick revival.
Last september Evangelion 1.0 Kubrick was a big hit, this time it will includes Asuka and Kaworu plus Unit 3 and Unit 2 Eva.

“Destruction” Mali is also avalable but perhaps this will be included as chaser Kubrick.

Original release date is still on Marchl 2010.

Which SDX Gundam Do you like the most ?

Recently Bandai starts to release their SDX Gundam collection, these Gundams SD are cute but come with a quite heavy price tag. The price range are between 45 – 60 USD. The one that I most looking forward into is the Versal Gundam. The Versal SDX Gundam are continuation of the Knight Gundam lineup. What so cool about this one is the armor is painted in white color, a Very nice white too … Versal SDX Gundam will be realsed on early December 2009. Pre-orders are starting now !

For me personally I really liked the Commando, Knight, Full Armor Knight, not sure with the Gaiden Gundam with Golden color… and the Satan Gundam If I remembered it correctly this toys are released back in 1991 – 1993.. The difference on that time was the Gundam comes with the actual pilot body and all the Gundam Armor are parts.
