Ultra Act Ultraman

This is the Ultraman in SH figure art forms, however Bandai called this lined up as Ultra-Act. This will be a good contender for “Revoltech” Kaiyodo. The height is about 16cm, highly articulated and posable.

This look like the best articulated Ultraman figure I’ve seen. Looks good in the cape too..

Project BM Akira Bike pictures

There is a new update for Project BM Akira Bike, the length of the bike is 0.5 Metter (quite huge )

There are 5 components light up: headlights, front and rear wheels, left and right turn signals, rear lamps and dashboard. The bike’s armor can be detached easily,

The Plastic Armor are held together via magnet, it has sound effect for the brake (left) and the accelerator (right). Can be connected to an external speaker for higher sound quality. There will be also special prize for early pre-order: plain cowl and special stickers designed by Otomo Katsuhiro (大友克洋), director of “Akira”.

It will be released on 20 of March with the heavy price tag of course of 39,900 Yen (inclusive of tax). Will you still be interested ? =)

Professor Layton Revoltech

This is one of the most eagerly waited revoltech figure. Features Professor Layton based on the level 5 Nintendo DS videogame.

This figure will be out on 15 of march this year, will retail for ¥2400 (USD$26).

With this price this is a lot better figure as compare the resin one made last time, with the fraction of the cost also.. Can’t wait for luke figure to complete the collection, although I’m not sure if revoltech is making Luke version.

AKIRA Project BM more details

BM Project or Project BM are a special toys line up from Bandai. As posted on my previous post here are some better images on the Kaneda bike’s. It will be released next month together with the Shotaro Kaneda figures on March next year.

The Kaneda figures are made of PVC, hard plastic and real leather ( for the clothes ). You will get two type of head, the normal one and the one with googles on. Also comes with the battery pack and the laser gun connected to it.

This is probably the ultimate Akira Toys you cannot miss on March next year.

Akira is very well known anime, it have a deep political meaning of Japanese culture. Apparently Leonardo Dicaprio is already on take to make a movie out of it. Well, this news is not about that, is about this sick cool toys from Project BM. This bike is 1/6 scale of Kaneda’s Bike. Comes with 3 different LED color, blue , yellow and red for the dashboard. You can open up the bike’s body for inside mechanical works. Totally awesome, comes with heavy price tags of 39900 Yen, or about … 450 USD some Japanese online store have it for sale for about 300 US. Worth the money ?? Yes I think soo..

Evangelion 2.0 YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE Kubrick

Supporting the second OVA remake of Evangelion. “You Can (NOT) Advance”. Medicom finally released the continuation for their evangelion kubrick revival.
Last september Evangelion 1.0 Kubrick was a big hit, this time it will includes Asuka and Kaworu plus Unit 3 and Unit 2 Eva.

“Destruction” Mali is also avalable but perhaps this will be included as chaser Kubrick.

Original release date is still on Marchl 2010.

Evangelion Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster

Fender in coorpoeration with Yamano music are launching 2 guitar variant based on Evangelion Rei Ayanami. Both guitar are due to release by the end of this year. Apperantly both are for auction. So I’m sore there is much of crazy Otaku who will get this. Need to be careful that paint on the wood is aged deterioration with temperature and humidity, so you need to make sure to store this kind of guitar in not a humid air.

Hokuto Musou Fist of the North Star Warriors Xbox360 and PS3

If you grew up on the 1990′s you must know about kenshiro “Fist of the North Star”. Apperantly this game just announced by Tecmo / Koei.

Koei used to make all of Musou game, but Hokuto Musou gameplay looked like a mixed between Tecmo Ninja Gaiden and the usual Musou / Dynasti Warrior game. Not sure how near is this game to its completion. Tecmo already announced they aim to sell 1 Million copy of this game upon release date. For now the game sure look so much promissing, check out the video link bellow.

Halo Japanese Animation Movie, Halo Legends

Remember the animatrix ? well you can say this is Halo Legends is animatrix version.

Halo Legends consist of 8 short anime films, created in collaboration by bungie with 7 edge leading japanese animation companies amongs them are Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio 4°C, and Toei Animation.

Pretty cool eh looking at masterchief in anime style… hmmm I liked it!
