Ultra Act Ultraman

This is the Ultraman in SH figure art forms, however Bandai called this lined up as Ultra-Act. This will be a good contender for “Revoltech” Kaiyodo. The height is about 16cm, highly articulated and posable.

This look like the best articulated Ultraman figure I’ve seen. Looks good in the cape too..

Project BM Akira Bike pictures

There is a new update for Project BM Akira Bike, the length of the bike is 0.5 Metter (quite huge )

There are 5 components light up: headlights, front and rear wheels, left and right turn signals, rear lamps and dashboard. The bike’s armor can be detached easily,

The Plastic Armor are held together via magnet, it has sound effect for the brake (left) and the accelerator (right). Can be connected to an external speaker for higher sound quality. There will be also special prize for early pre-order: plain cowl and special stickers designed by Otomo Katsuhiro (大友克洋), director of “Akira”.

It will be released on 20 of March with the heavy price tag of course of 39,900 Yen (inclusive of tax). Will you still be interested ? =)

The most expensive Mazinger Z I’ve ever known

This is the most expensive Mazinger – Z I’ve ever known. This was actually show cased last year in 2009 but now is already confirmed!
UMC stand for Urban Material Chogokin, it was produced by Tamashii Nation ( under Bandai ).

This UMC hottest is made of titanium Carbon. 900mm tall, and 8kg weight. The display base dimension is 600mm tall, with 400mm in width and depth respectively, weighting about 4kgs.

The only way to get this is to contact Tamashii Nation directly. They only produce extremely limited quantity. 10 Unit worldwide. The Pre order started tomorrow if you are really into this you better be hurry. The UMC Mazinger Z will be ready to be shipped on the 29 August this year.

How expensive ? 2.000.000 yen,. which make it around $22.000 US dollars… Hm… I’m deciding should I get a car, or this for my birthday..

. ha ha ha

This is simply The Best Mazinger. Ever. Period.

D-Style Patlabor Ingram 1 Non Scale

Finally Patlabor have arrived in line from Kotobukiya ( Deformed Style ).

Cool and cute, small but not to scale size. It have wide range of Articulations,. Guns, Shield and lots of decal too to put yourself.
Will be released on May for 1575 Yen. Quite cheap price around 15 dollar.

Professor Layton Revoltech

This is one of the most eagerly waited revoltech figure. Features Professor Layton based on the level 5 Nintendo DS videogame.

This figure will be out on 15 of march this year, will retail for ¥2400 (USD$26).

With this price this is a lot better figure as compare the resin one made last time, with the fraction of the cost also.. Can’t wait for luke figure to complete the collection, although I’m not sure if revoltech is making Luke version.

3A Metal Gear Solid Rex

3A is known as toy manufacturer from Hongkong that produce high quality paint in toys. 3A is founded by Ashley wood and Kim from Zero Three.

In collaboration with Kojami Production they are producing the metal gear solid Rex.

Below are some snapshots of the next Metal Gear Solid Rex Toys by 3A.

The paint is absolutely Incredible. The toys is due to be released in 2010. There are no exact release date. According to some information it is still under prototype. Price will be around on 350 – 500 US mark and I’m sure it will be just extremely limited.

Fewture Getter 1 Gigantic Double Tomahawk

I owned all the original Fewture getter. ( not the repaint ), as I’m getting bored to look at the machine gun .. I finally got the “gigantic tomahawk” from Angolz today.

The tomahawk is all made from plastic. ( if its from die cast I think would be to heavy for getter 1 to carry it ).

While the name sounded silly at first, I understand now why they called it Gigantic its almost over one third quater tall as compared to getter 1 itself.

It comes with the switchable hand too..

Overall I liked it, give the getter 1 more menacing and mystical look as compare to the getter gun. It’s actually nice to attach the tomahawk at the back ( to become hover mode) , although the getter neck is forced be tilted to the front slightly. ( this is because of the attachment part at the back ).

Jumbo Mazinger

Jumbo Mazinger is due to be released this month the price is around 270USD. This has been the second revisit since 36 years ago Jumbo Mazinger was produced by Popy. Accurately based on its design for the “Shin Mazinger Shogeki! Z Hen” anime, this enormous robot is articulated at all major joints, allowing it to replicate its signature Breast Fire and Rocket Punch attack moves. The included Hover Pileder can be docked into Mazinger Z’s head, and separate arm units are also provided that are capable of launching the robot’s fists! GFF Metal composite Unicorn

The more I look at this Metal composite, the more I wanted it… What I liked about GFF is all the cool decals around the Gundam.
The Unicorn is due out on March next year around 18000 yen ($210 US). This is a Tamashii exclusive though I’m pretty sure you can get it of amiami or ebay. Hope that Bandai improve the GFF Metal Composite Unicorn line after the lot of complain for GFF Metal Composite previously.

PG Raiser 00 1/60 From AMIAMI

I bought this item from amiami, couple of month ago amiami just opened their international store. The price is 25% off the marked price, so bought this PG Raiser 1/60 gundam for 18280 Yen which converted to be around 210 USD. Pretty good price eh, but wait shipment cost another 10750 Yen, which is around 120 USD! This might be because I bought Macross Frontier Ex Gear Alto together with it ( the macross cost 4700 Yen aroun 54 US which a very good price compared elsewhere..) . Regardless I almost canceled my order as soon as I hear the price tag. I email their support in regards to cheaper shipping alternative, but apparently this is already a good price according to the sales reps. He explained the box is really really huge. Then after couple of thoughts and price checking from ebay (most of ebay are pre-ordered or not the first release), I have decided to get it of amiami.

Upon receiving it No surprise, the box is so damn huge. Shipment with EMS was lightning fast. Shipped on Saturday Received on Monday. No Drama. Packaging is well solid. Perfect package. I received the Gundam Raiser Stand as well which I heard this is only available for the first batch of shipment.

There will be an additional Clear Parts for the Gundam. This will cost around 3500 Yen alone. Not sure if I will get this.

Inside the Gundam Box, there are 3 different box, one for the raiser, one for the Gundam and one for the pre-assambled part of the GN Drive. Damn, this might take couple of weeks to build.. well I will save it for later… maybe early next year when I’m not busy

Overall I’m pretty much happy buying from AMIAMI. And would recommended Amiami as reliable Japanese toys store.
